About Blythe Parker, LM, CPM, BSM

Blythe Parker is a licensed and certified professional midwife who lives in Friday Harbor, Washington. Her interest in holistic health began at an early age with the study of herbal medicine. She desired to work with people in achieving their best health, and began prerequisites for nursing school in 2015. In 2017 she found and was accepted to The Midwives College of Utah, where she graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelors degree in 2021. Her training of over 2500 clinical hours carried her to multiple continents and allowed her the opportunity to learn from Certified Nurse Midwives as well as Certified Professional Midwives who specialized in birth center and home birth.

Blythe completed Herbal Medicine for Women in 2021, and continues to support her clients with remedies she makes and grows herself. She has a passion for the betterment of women’s’ health and travels annually to work in clinics around the globe. She moved to San Juan Island in 1995 with her husband, Ryan. They built a house and raised their children in the community that has become their heart and which they still call home. In her free time, she can be found gardening, cooking, knitting, or out exploring the beautiful Pacific Northwest with friends and family.
